Community Education Program

Community Education Workshops bring education professionals to North Hawaii to provide information, resources, and support to families and educators of diverse learners.  Workshops aim to provide participants with a better understanding of a student’s learning challenges and strategies to assist their learning at home and in school.  The free Community Education Workshops are held monthly from September through April, except in December.  To receive notification on upcoming workshops, please email Hawaii Learning Resource at info@hawaiilearningresource.org.

Referrals for Student Assessments

Hawaii Learning Resource provides referrals to All Kinds of Minds trained professionals who use a strengths-based approach to assess and guide struggling students.  The assessment identifies students’ strengths and interests and specific breakdowns in learning.  A detailed report and demystification meeting provides students and their families with recommended strategies to strengthen the student’s strengths and reduce their learning challenges.

For referral contact information, please call Hawaii Learning Resource at (808) 885-9318, or email us at info@hawaiilearningresource.org.
