Workshop Overview

The Summer Literacy Academy will provide educators with an opportunity to learn the Multisensory Structured Language (MSL) approach and work with a student in a practicum environment.

Teachers will increase their skills in working with struggling readers and students in their classroom. Participants will receive MSL training and support, all course materials and resource documents, and have the opportunity to work one on one with students to practice newly learned skills.

In addition to a completed application, participants must submit a $25 fee to secure their space. This training is provided at no additional cost to participants; however, commitment to attend all training and practicum days is required.

Space is limited to 10 participants. Early registration is encouraged.

HLR reserves the right to cancel the Summer Literacy Academy if minimum registration is not met. Contact HLR at Email: for more information.
